Businesses Stocked with Advantages

From dinner tables to agriculture stables, Cleveland County consumer goods are a staple in daily lives around the globe.

Honing their craft in the region’s business-friendly climate are Newgrass Brewing Co. and Stout Beverage. Connected to a system of low-cost reliable utilities and a network of teams designed to streamline the regulations process, both breweries have expanded in recent years with growth investments totaling more than $7 million.

Delivering goods to distributors, ranches and farms is convenient for companies like Eagle Roller Mill, a feeds manufacturer that has operated in Cleveland County for nearly a century. More than 50% of the U.S. population is within 12 hours trucking distance and 700-plus flights keep people and products moving.

Wrapping up some of the area’s products is one of Cleveland County’s greatest success stories. Clearwater Paper, the country’s largest provider of private label tissue products to retail grocery chains and a manufacturer of bleached paperboard, has expanded twice within the region. With access to a well-oiled logistics network and exceptionally experienced talent, the $620 million investment that introduced 440-plus new jobs was a natural fit.
