Site Infrastructure

SHOVEL READY

All due diligence items have been completed, including Phase 1 ESA, Wetlands Delineation, Survey/Topo, Geotechnical, Archaeological (clear), Threatened and Endangered Species (clear).

UTILITY SERVICES

ELECTRICAL SERVICE:
An existing Duke Energy 100 kV transmission line runs along the southern side of the site, and a small distribution line runs adjacent to the site along Farmville Road. There is also a Duke Energy l00kV transmission line located approximately 1/4 mile to the southeast of the site. A recently constructed substation is located within the adjacent paper plant site.

WATER:
Water services would be provided by the City of Shelby. The City of Shelby Water Treatment Facility is located approximately 2 miles from the site. There is currently a 16″ water line along Farmville Road that provides service to the site.

SEWER:
The City of Shelby would provide sanitary sewer service to the site. An existing 15″ sewer line runs southeast of the site. Sewer lines flow to the Shelby Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is approximately 11 miles from the site.

NATURAL GAS:
An existing 6″ (150 psi) natural gas line runs along Farmville Road.

FIBER OPTIC:
Time Warner Cable TV coaxial and TV fiber optic cables run along Farmville Road. An AT&T fiber optic telephoneservice line runs approximately 1/2 mile southwest of the site.
